Located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, we are a supply only structural steel fabricator servicing both the Canadian and US markets. We are largely a heavy industrial fabricator, with experience in the Bulk Material Handling, Environmental, Mining/Minerals & Oil/Gas, Processing Plants, and Pulp & Paper sectors. Moreover, KAY-SON has fabricated all kinds of steel structures in other sectors such as Commercial, Institutional, Marine and Military. Our varied experience sets KAY-SON apart from our competition.
Our shop is quality certified to AISC 201-06 Standard for Steel Building Structures and CWB certified under CSA Standard W47.1 Division 1. All welding conforms to CSA W59.1 Welding Standard and AWS D1.1. Our journeymen maintain both a CWB and AWS welding C ticket Flux-Cored (FCAW/MCAW) and are trained in accordance with KAY-SON’s standards and procedures. Our fabrication adheres to CSA, ASME, and AWS codes.
