Electronic Arts is building amodern, unified AdTech platformto power scalable, player-first monetization across our global portfolio of live services. At its core, the LCM Ads Data team enables data solutions to provide visibility and insight into in-game ads performance and opportunities. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer III to join our team. You will report to a Senior Software Engineer II as a hands-on individual contributor.

What You Will Do:

  • Work in partnership with game teams and ads sponsorship teams to design shared services.
  • Lead architecture and design discussions in our team.
  • Be accountable for the scalability, reliability and maintainability of the data service and data quality.
  • Provide support to team members and customers as a subject matter expert.
  • Mentor team members by establishing best practices and enforcing them through code reviews.
  • Shape production direction by researching and integrating ads vendors and technologies.
  • Analyse and visualise technical data.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and at least 5 years of industry experience in software engineering or data science.
  • Experience with Java, C# or C++ development.
  • Experience with public Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with data processing and storage technologies (streaming, ETL, NoSQL and OLAP databases).
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD.

Bonus Skills

  • You have worked with AAA games.
  • Experience with SSPs, DSPs, and identity/data partners.
  • You have gone through the full cycle with MRC accreditation or independent third-party audit.
  • Experience with advertising inventory forecasting, attribution modeling and recommendation systems.

This is a hybrid role where you will be in-office 3 days.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

*British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$119,600 - $167,300 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
