The Opportunity

Are you an experienced trainer with a passion for person-centered case management? Disability Programs is dedicated to person centered service excellence, collaboration, and working as one team. The Community Living Service Delivery branch of Disability Programs is seeking a Learning & Accountability Manager to join the Program & Operational Supports (PrOS) team. This position is responsible for development and implementation of a learning and accountability strategy for branch managers, supervisors and front-line employees. This portfolio also includes responsibility for provincial assessment training and oversight.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is an experienced manager with strong communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a passion for training delivery and assessment quality assurance. Experience managing a team is an asset. Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position would be acquired through a certificate/degree in human services or social sciences, combined with at least four years of experience in a related field. Candidates with backgrounds in adult education, or human services are likely to find this position rewarding. A valid driver’s license is required, as travel will be necessary. Candidates must clearly indicate in their cover letter why they’re interested in a position with PrOS, and how they’ve acquired the skills required for this position. Candidates will be screened based on the information provided.
