Title: Assistant Manager (Floor Lead)

Department: Retail – Popup Outlet

Employment Type: Term – 9 weeks *Possible Extension

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

What Would You Do? We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Assistant Manager (Floor Lead). The successful candidate will be part of the EQ3 Outlet team and Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily outlet operations.

The Duties And Responsibilities Of This Position Would Include

  • Lead the sales floor during operating hours, ensuring coverage across all product zones (upholstery, bedroom, dining, rugs)
  • Coach and motivate sales associates to meet daily and weekly revenue targets
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and complex sales negotiations
  • Monitor sales progress throughout each day and communicate targets to the team
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation and POS reporting
  • Coordinate with warehouse movers on product replenishment, customer pickups, and floor resets
  • Train all team members on POS system operation and cash handling procedures
  • Support visual merchandising standards and product presentation on the sales floor
  • Step in to complete sales transactions and assist customers directly during peak periods
  • Assist with weekly setup on Wednesdays as needed
  • Organize and maintain team schedule
  • Maintain and support inventory goals
  • Report daily sales figures and notable activity to the Store Manager

  • Takes ownership of floor performance, team output, and daily operational targets.
  • Able to think on feet and resolve operational and customer issues independently.
