Kent Homes is seeking an Electrician to support our operations by ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety and quality standards in both residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Electrical Blueprint Interpretation – Read and interpret electrical blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Installation & Testing: Install, calibrate, and test electrical building infrastructure and control systems.
- Electrical Conduit Work: Cut, thread, bend, couple, and strap electrical conduit wiring to facilitate safe installations.
- Finish Device Installation: Install electrical finish devices in various settings, ensuring functionality and compliance
- Safety Compliance: Perform all job duties with a high degree of safety awareness and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification – Block 1, 2, or 3 apprentice or Journeyman certification is required. Trade Certification or College Diploma.
- Communication Skills – Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Interpersonal Skills – Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Electrical Knowledge – Familiarity with electrical blueprints and installation standards.
- Adaptability – Willingness and ability to perform a variety of tasks on a repetitive basis in a structured environment.

Kent Homes sold on the domestic market are covered by a seven-year structural warranty, a one-year workmanship and material defects warranty. GEOGRAPHIC MARKETING PRIORITIES/MARKETING STRATEGY Kent is interested in pursuing and developing sales worldwide with a particular emphasis on Latin America, the USA and Japan. Remote regions accessible by water transport only are target markets. CIDA sponsored projects in developing nations are also of interest.
