About The Role As the Lead Massage Therapist at Four Seasons, you will provide exceptional massage and body treatments while supervising a team of skilled therapists. You will ensure adherence to established protocols, maintain treatment standards, and foster a supportive and professional environment for both guests and staff. In addition to performing treatments, this role involves overseeing inventories, managing schedules, conducting training, and ensuring all treatment rooms are fully equipped. This position combines leadership, operational management, and hands-on expertise to deliver a luxurious and seamless spa experience.
Hourly wage: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
What You Will Do Treatment Excellence
- Deliver personalized massage and body treatments aligned with Four Seasons' luxury standards.
- Stay current on massage techniques and wellness trends to ensure treatments are innovative and effective.
- Monitor team performance to maintain consistently high treatment standards.
- Assist Spa Management with administrative tasks.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and mentor massage therapists and aestheticians to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Conduct training sessions to maintain and elevate service quality.
- Create and manage team schedules to align coverage with guest demand and operational needs.
Operational Management
- Oversee inventory for treatment supplies and retail products.
- Ensure treatment rooms are fully equipped, clean, and meet operational standards.
- Conduct regular spa walkthroughs to identify maintenance or improvement needs.
- Support additional spa operations to ensure seamless team performance.
Guest Experience
- Serve as a point of contact for guest feedback, addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
- Promote spa services and retail products to enhance guest wellness journeys.
- Cultivate a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
What You Bring
- Current qualifications and licenses in Massage Therapy, in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a massage therapist, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role in a luxury spa or wellness environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (additional languages an asset).
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong computer literacy; preferred knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs, with proficiency in managing emails, calls, and other communications.
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Physical stamina to perform multiple treatments and oversee operational responsibilities.
- Must have current and valid work authorization for Canada
