Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated General Production to join our dynamic Pole Mount Assembly. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless assembly of our transformer products, contributing to our manufacturing efficiency, and upholding our quality standards. As a General Production Assembly team member, you will play an integral part in our mission to deliver exceptional products to our customers while working in an environment that values dedication and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Safely perform a wide range of tasks such as; conducting material/equipment set-ups, maintaining a clean and organized work space, following job specific work instructions and completing all required quality checks.
- Review production schedule, and communicate accordingly regarding material needs, to ensure time standard requirements are meet.
- Strives to meet daily schedule attainment with the goal of exceeding set out time standards.
- Always follow Cam Tran's ISO procedures, when completing job tasks in order to produce quality parts based upon the established work procedures.
- Raise your hand and flag any non-conforming materials/product to ensure strict adherence to ISO quality standards.
- Complete safety checks of all equipment and/or tools before beginning job tasks, and report issues accordingly.
- Assist team mates with the completion of job tasks, as time allows.
- Actively participates in team huddles, and provides meaningful feedback within the cell.
- Other duties as assigned by the Value Stream Supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills and teamwork capabilities
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and practices
Benefits
Shift and Flexibility:
- Training: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Regular Schedule (after training): Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (Afternoon Shift)
- Overtime: Fridays, based on business needs
