About the Role:
We are hiring a proactive and safety-driven Quarry Lead Hand to oversee and operate the crushing plant. In this role, you’ll lead daily operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effective production while working hands-on with the plant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plant health and safety initiatives and ensure full compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and support daily crushing operations, maintenance, and inspections.
- Coordinate with teams to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead daily huddles.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing operational priorities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quarry operations or heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of maintenance and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in drilling, blasting, or plant operations is an asset.
