What you’ll do The Junior Investment Analyst supports day-to-day investment portfolio monitoring and administration, including operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with internal processes. The role also assists with investigating and implementing new investment programs. As an entry-level opportunity in asset management, this position is intended to help newly graduated students build practical investment knowledge and experience.
What you’ll bring A degree in business administration, commerce, finance, accounting, economics or a related field plus 1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of financial markets and strong computer, mathematical and analytical skills are required. Keen interest in developing a working knowledge of financial markets and investment research. Desire to learn about various asset classes and markets. Efficient analytical, writing and presentation skills. Highly effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Demonstrated attention to detail with a focus in data management and reconciliation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint Ability to manage documentation, records and multiple data sources effectively. Ability to work, collaborate and communicate in a professional team environment.
What we offer A competitive salary range of $59,676.39 - $77,592.69 A 35-hour work week. 4 weeks starting vacation and paid time off to deal with family, health and sickness, and compassionate situations. 100% employer paid benefits from day one.
