About the role

Joining the team means being part of an environment where people support each other and take pride in making a real impact.</p><br/><p>The <b>Temporary (15 months) Operations Financial Analyst</b> oversees the financial aspects of the plant, with a strong focus on raw material analysis and yields, while supporting their team in managing labour costs and other operating expenses. In their role as a business partner to the manufacturing team, they ensure the accuracy of financial information, support the understanding of results, optimize operations, and lead transformation projects.</p><br/><p><b>A clear framework that enables you to take ownership:</b></p><br/><li>Flexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine services;</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP);</li><li>Opportunity to invest in your personal growth (career development, training, tc.);</li><li><b>Salary grade 005: $84 600 to $105 800</b> (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills).</li><p><b>What you will take ownership of on a daily basis:</b></p><br/><li>Determine milk payments and periodically analyze raw material yields used in manufacturing, as well as related performance indicators.</li><li>Support the Operations Analyst in month-end closing activities (volumes, labour, and other expenses).</li><li>Develop the plant manufacturing budget, with support from the plant Operations Analyst.</li><li>Develop the plant cost of goods manufactured (variable costs + fixed overhead), with support from the plant Operations Analyst.</li><li>Assist the plant leadership team in developing and monitoring key performance indicators to assess functional performance and identify further cost-reduction opportunities.</li><li>Contribute to cost control and help build the future by providing financial analyses and recommendations.</li><li>Develop data- and fact-based insights to support decision-making and drive productivity initiatives aimed at reducing overall costs.</li><li>Actively participate in plant management committees and present financial results.</li><li>Team management ? Plant Operations Analyst.</li><p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p><li>Responsible for employee relations, including employee career guidance, hiring, training, performance reviews, policy and procedure administration, disciplinary actions, and compensation recommendations.</li><li>Lead the implementation of departmental objectives, goals, and policies.</li><li>Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).</li><br/><p><b>The profile that can truly own the role:</b></p><li>Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Accounting, or Finance required.</li><li>An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.</li><li>CPA</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required.</li><li>Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken, considered an asset.</li><li>Positive leadership and strong team spirit.</li><li>Effective communication.</li><li>Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and sound judgment</li><li>Customer- and solution-oriented mindset</li><li>Continuous improvement culture</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li><li>Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; Power Query is an asset)</li><p><b>A role for those who turn plans into results.</b></p><p>Agropur welcomes people from all backgro
