Regional Key Account Manager

Role Profile

We are currently seeking a Regional Key Account Manager to join our team in Toronto, ON. Reporting to the National Accounts Manager, this individual is responsible for owning key customer relationships as assigned.

Success will be based on your ability to understand critical customer needs, develop and deploy creative selling solutions to drive volume and profitability, and by positioning Auxly as a partner of choice in the mind of our customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with key customers identified as a Regional Account.

• Manage selling to customers and focus on building executional trade plans that drive sell-through.

• Work with your accounts internal operational teams to support; brand education, product knowledge, and develop collaborative, mutually beneficial selling strategies.

• Identify short and long-term solutions to ensure sales targets are met through building strategic customer plans to sustain growth and address any commercial gaps.

• Achieve sales and profitability targets for assigned customers that support and deliver to the regional targets.

• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

• Work collaboratively with the commercial team to understand strategic opportunities and review market performance.

• Analyze data with the objective of developing sales plans that address the market conditions.

• Monthly budget tracking and ensure timely processing of customer invoices.

• Actively support Trade Marketing efforts for the Key Account group to ensure timely deployment of brand activities.

• Work closely with the field sales team to help drive targets and program at a store level

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary education required.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in customer management, preferably from within a regulated Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

• Partner mindset through solution and fact-based selling to uncover customers' needs.

• Superior communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation.

• Strong analytical background with proven ability to uncover data driven insights.

• Strong time management and organization skills with significant attention to detail.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to balance both office hours and meaningful time in market with customers.

• Must have a valid drivers license
