About the role

What you will do:

As a Consultant at Gravitas, you will work on solving interesting strategy, operations, and technology problems for our clients. Consultants leverage advanced consulting skills, intellectual capital, and research, along with strong stakeholder management capabilities, to help deliver outcomes on client engagements. You may also be staffed on internal initiatives and activities that support the growth of the firm.

Who you will work with:

You will typically work in teams of 2–5 members with oversight from Engagement Managers and Principals, collaborating closely with client stakeholders and internal Gravitas teams to deliver high-impact results.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of workstreams and related deliverables across consulting engagements.
  • Assist Engagement Managers and Principals in delivering high-quality client outcomes.
  • Break complex and ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches.
  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze information to develop key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to build and test hypothesis-based recommendations.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial and operational models to evaluate business performance, profitability drivers, cost structures, and investment scenarios.
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives by developing analytical models that provide leadership with visibility into business performance and strategic priorities.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Design and develop executive dashboards and business intelligence reports to enable real-time monitoring of key business and financial metrics.
  • Translate complex analytical outputs into clear business narratives and executive-ready insights that support decision-making.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on operational and financial performance to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Strategy, Operations, Technology, and Marketing to deliver integrated analytical solutions.
  • Prepare executive presentations, board-level materials, and strategic reports to support leadership discussions and client engagements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and team members, demonstrating Gravitas’ core values and commitment to delivering positive client outcomes.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders including Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-suite leaders, contributing insights to strategic discussions and business reviews.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, develop a leadership style, and contribute to firm culture and internal initiatives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and research within preferred industries, functions, or subject areas.
  • Support business development initiatives such as marketing materials, proposals, white papers, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent (typically 5+ years) work experience preferred; Requirements may vary by country or practice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with the ability to clearly articulate insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience working in highly collaborative and matrixed environments.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, identify solutions, and operate effectively in dynamic or ambiguous situations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, and evolving client expectations.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and industry-standard tools is preferred.
  • Curiosity to develop expertise in market research, emerging technologies, and evolving business trends.
