Located in North York, ON, Autorama’s team is dedicated to helping customers find vehicles that fit their needs and budget. Role Description The Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based at Autorama in North York, ON. This role focuses on identifying and developing new sales opportunities, including generating and qualifying leads through inbound and outbound channels such as phone, email, online inquiries, and walk-in traffic. The representative will build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers, present vehicle options aligned with customer needs, and support the sales team in closing deals. Daily activities include managing a sales pipeline and CRM records, following up on leads promptly, coordinating test drives and appointments, and contributing to promotional campaigns and initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with the sales and financing teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and consistent achievement of sales targets. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify prospects and move them effectively through the sales funnel. Candidates should possess solid Sales and Business Development abilities to drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, and support dealership objectives. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional customer interaction. Experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or a related customer-facing environment is highly beneficial. Proven ability to work toward targets, manage time efficiently, and stay organized using CRM or similar tools. Comfort engaging with diverse customers, with a customer-first approach and strong problem-solving skills. Availability to work on-site full time, including evenings and weekends as required by dealership operations. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
