Location: Hybrid - Working from home four (4) days a week and on-site one (1) day a week at 90 Eglinton Ave East, Toronto
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Contract Full Time Salaried - 1 Year (Existing Vacancy)

The HRIS Agent will be a quick learner, team player and have excellent attention to detail. Reporting to the HRIS Supervisor, they will work as part of a team to ensure the accurate and timely data entry of confidential employee data into various HR systems. They will also provide clerical and administrative support to a broader team as needed.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor submissions and carefully review information for completeness and accuracy
- Follow up for clarity or request missing information as needed
- Carry out timely and accurate data entry and/or prepare and upload files into various systems
- Ensure updates are done with significant attention to detail and follow all guidelines
- Audit information to maintain data integrity
- Prepare employment verification letters as needed
- Track missing new hire information, and ensure new hire documents are received and filed in a timely manner after each pay period
- Provide clerical and administrative support for other departmental initiatives as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You bring:
- Knowledge or previous experience using a database and maintaining integrity of the data and system; previous experience with UKG (previously Ultimate Software) an asset
- Minimum one year clerical and administrative experience
- Strong skills in accurate and timely data entry in multiple systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform duties with speed and accuracy, achieving adherence to established deadlines; previous experience in employee information data entry an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills coupled with a heightened awareness of the importance of attention to detail required for employee data
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data and suggest solutions
- Completion of related courses or workshops to increase work efficiency and computer skills an asset
- Knowledge of good business processes; demonstrated ability to improve efficiency of administrative activities
- Experience with MS Excel, Outlook and Word is required (intermediate level of Excel preferred)
- Experience with Smartsheet preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion
- Service-oriented, good judgment, takes initiative
- Excellent written communication skills
