About the role
Sunderland Co-operative Inc. is currently seeking a G2 Technician.
Position Summary: As a G2 Technicianyou will be responsible for providing services to propane customers including installation and repair of tanks and equipment. Successful candidates will possess their G2 Gas Technician Ticket and a valid G Driver’s License.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide competent professional services to customers
- Lead onsite installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs and testing
- Diagnose errors and technical problems to determine proper solutions
- Counsel and advise customers on service issues
- Complete and maintain proper documentation for billing and service management
- Provide accurate quotations
- Complete propane system inspections as required by law
- Independently work in the field to complete multiple tasks on time
- Understand and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental policies**,** procedures and legislation
- Positively represent the organization in all interactions with customers including maintaining a professional image and keeping the company service vehicle clean and well organized
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- G2 Gas Technician Ticket
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Comprehensive analytical problem solving, organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-tasking and employing effective decision making (judgement) under sometimes stressful and unpredictable circumstances (traffic, weather conditions) etc.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with customers
