SALARY RANGE:
$39.07 - $56.00

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
- A current certificate of competence as an RN in Ontario.
- BScN preferred.
- 2 years (recent) Chemotherapy Administration experience.
- Certified in the initiation of intravenous lines by venipuncture/care of central venous access devices.
- Certified in fibrinolytic therapy for central venous access device occlusions and removal of peripherally inserted central catheters.
- C.V.A.A. (C) Canadian Vascular Access Association Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise with Central Venous Access Devices.
- DeSousa certification with demonstrated clinical expertise in systemic chemotherapy, biotherapy and hospice palliative care
- Knowledge of Cancer Care services and system, locally, regionally and provincially.
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Certified in the Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Recent completion (within 3 years) of Palliative Care: The Fundamentals and C.A.P.C.E.
- Canadian Nurses Association Certification in Oncology and/or Hospice Palliative Care.
- Satisfactory attendance.
