TheChange & Practice Management Consultantis an execution‑focused role accountable for delivering measurable business outcomes through effective change, practice, and performance enablement across BMO Insurance. Designed for hands‑on delivery environments, the role focuses on translating strategy into embedded, sustainable ways of working that improve performance, reinforce culture, and enable leaders and teams to succeed through change.

The role carries accountability for implementing, embedding, and sustaining change and practice initiatives within the business, with ownership from solution shaping through implementation, adoption, and sustainment. Effectiveness is measured by sustained adoption, performance improvement, strong operating discipline, and the reinforcement of desired cultural behaviours embedded into day‑to‑day operations. This role isToronto****‑basedand requires in‑office presence four days per week to support collaboration and team connection.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Execution, Adoption & Sustainment

  • Execute end‑to‑end change and adoption plans aligned to business priorities, operating models, and performance outcomes.
  • Embed changes into day‑to‑day processes, routines, tools, and behaviours to ensure durability.
  • Assess readiness, impacts, and adoption risks; proactively address resistance and execution gaps.
  • Track adoption, behaviour change, and performance indicators, adjusting execution approaches as needed.
  • Enable leaders to actively lead and reinforce change through clear expectations and practical tools.
  • Maintain ownership for initiatives from initiation through sustainment, ensuring follow‑through on actions and delivery of intended outcomes.

Practice Management & Performance Enablement

  • Translate business strategy and priorities into clear, practical practices, standards, and ways of working.
  • Design and implement practice frameworks that improve consistency, efficiency, and execution quality.
  • Identify and address gaps in role clarity, operating discipline, and capability application that impact results.
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned, integrated, and scalable across teams and functions.

Leader & Role Capability Enablement (Job**‑Embedded)**

  • Enable leader and role capability through practical, job‑embedded solutions that directly support performance.
  • Design and deliver enablement assets such as playbooks, tools, routines, guides, and just‑in‑time resources.
  • Minimize reliance on traditional training by embedding learning into workflows and leader‑led reinforcement.
  • Facilitate working sessions focused on decision‑making, alignment, problem‑solving, and execution.

Stakeholder Partnership, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with business leaders, HR, Learning, and Technology teams.
  • Build strong working relationships that enable rapid issue resolution and effective execution.
  • Establish governance, tracking, and execution rhythms to keep initiatives on track.
  • Use data, insights, and feedback to evaluate effectiveness, drive course correction, and continuously improve practices and tools.

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
