ROSEN is looking for a HSE Coordinator that will be based in Calgary, AB. This position reports directly to the Head of HSE and will be a part of the HSE team.
What role you will play in our team
The HSE Coordinator shall provide the ability to interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Maintaining compliance sites such as ISNetworld, Avetta & ComplyWorks, etc.
- Completing risk assessments, including Job Safety Analysis reviews.
- Assist with incident investigations and facility inspections.
- Complete health and safety documentation review and generation.
- Development of safety moments.
- Support new hire and visitor HSE orientation.
- Prepare and conduct HSE training as requested.
- Site walk through, including facilitating toolbox talks.
- Monitor the Drug and alcohol and Occupational health testing program.
- Assist front-line employees in all matters related to health and safety.
- Support current HSE programs such as Emergency Response, Observation cards, Internal audits, Hazard Assessments, Contractor Management.
Requirements The candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role is required, preferably within in the Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Pipeline Inspection industry.
- Formal education in the area of Health, Safety and Environment is required.
- Must have valid driver’s license and authorization to work in Canada.
Qualification or Skills:
- Proven knowledge of applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations and codes and standards.
- Additional HSE designations, certifications and/or courses are an asset (NHSA, NCSO, ISO Auditor Training, etc.).
- Superior written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Proficient in the use of MS office applications.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated positive Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment attitude.
- Strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism.
- Ability to implement, follow and interpret related company policy and procedures.
- Work independently, as well as within a team environment.
