About the Role
The operations Coordinator - RecruitmentOnboarding plays a vital role in the recruitment and staffing of our aviation security contracts by coordinating the on-boarding of new employees, including the RAIC clearance process, AVOP training and ensuring the validity of compliances. As a primary contact for new employees joining our team, our Operations Coordinator will be a brand ambassador with a focus on customer service and the employee experience.
The day to day
- Facilitating and assisting new employees with applying for their RAIC clearances and parking applications
- Issuing new hire paperwork and electronic filing.
- Providing administrative support for a variety of programs.
- Uniform issuance and performing uniform inventory control.
- Assisting operations with scheduling calls when required
- Reviewing Employee Licensing requirements and updating compliances within our human resources information system.
- Assisting the Recruiter with career fairs, onboarding, and other HR-related tasks.
- Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Greeting employees and applicants, and some reception duties.
What would you bring?
- 2 years of previous experience office administrator and human resources administrator role
- Previous knowledge and experience with airport clearances (including RAICAVOP) is an asset.
- Experience working in an airport environment is an asset.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- The ability to think analytically is essential.
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, strong customer service skills.
- Intermediate Excel Skills, with the ability to construct logical tables, populate data, filter, format and use formula functions.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Logical thinker who can apply problem solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Ability to prioritize work.
