Goodness Me! Is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager for our Waterloo store location.
Your day-to-day
As our Waterloo Store Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-managed and visually appealing store, with a focus on sales, labour, and waste targets.
Other tasks and duties include:
- Facilitate training for all team members and ensure company standards and procedures are upheld
- Lead recruitment for all departments
- Facilitate training and uphold company standards and procedures
- Thoroughly maintain team member records
- Coach and mentor employees to develop leaders
- Drive team member engagement
- Ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction, product quality assurance, store maintenance, and health and safety compliance
- Maintain broad product knowledge and ability to increase basket size
- Adhere to predetermined labour models and ensure scheduling is completed in a timely manner
- Collaborate to ensure the store achieves its financial targets
- Primary key holder and may be called to the store before, during or after business hours in the event of an emergency
- Flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
What you bring:
- Previous retail management experience (3-5 years).
- Experience working in a grocery retailer.
- Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (payroll, shrink and inventory management, etc).
- A solid understanding of sales forecasts for establishing key targets for the departments.
- Proven leadership qualities and experience developing and leading team members.
