Complete and maintain station records, logs and reports
Instruct apprentices Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctioning and to ensure plant systems are operating normally Operate automated or computerized control systems Operate equipment in hydro, thermal and nuclear power plants Perform routine equipment maintenance Regulate and co-ordinate transmission loads, frequency and line voltage Regulate water levels Write plant or building operation reports
