Hours: 9am to 5pm EST/PST, Monday to Friday

Our Retail SaaS client is seeking an Order Management Specialist to own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer orders, from CPQ quote creation through order fulfillment, billing readiness, and revenue recognition support. This role is critical to ensuring deal accuracy, operational efficiency, and a seamless customer experience by maintaining high-quality data across CPQ, CRM, and contract systems. This position sits at the intersection of Sales Operations, Deal Desk, CPQ, and Finance, with a strong focus on downstream accuracy, compliance, and revenue integrity.
Key Responsibilities : - Own the full customer order lifecycle from quote creation through order close-out

Create, review, and manage CPQ quotes, ensuring accuracy across pricing, SKUs, configurations, and contract terms

Partner closely with Sales and Deal Desk to support complex deals, including new business, renewals, upsells, and amendments

Maintain SKU setup, pricing rules, and product configurations within CPQ

Ensure completeness and accuracy across Quotes, Opportunities, Orders, and contracts

Own opportunity stage progression, close requirements, and post-close validation

Enforce data hygiene standards to support billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition

Prepare orders for Billing and Revenue Recognition by validating Product and SKU mapping, pricing, quantities, and contract terms, revenue schedules and billing triggers

Act as a primary point of contact for resolving order-related issues impacting invoicing or revenue

Serve as a liaison between Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Systems teams

Support audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements within the order-to-cash process

Identify opportunities to improve CPQ workflows, order management processes, and data quality

Document and maintain SOPs for quoting and order operations
Required Qualifications : - 3-4 years of experience in Order Management, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, or Revenue Operations

Must have hands-on experience with CPQ systems (Salesforce CPQ or similar)

Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes and downstream billing/revenue dependencies

Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and Finance teams

Experience supporting Billing or Revenue Recognition teams

Familiarity with ASC 606 concepts is a strong asset

Salesforce CRM experience

Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Ironclad)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume SaaS environment
