Job Description By joining our “onboarding team,” you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic group of industry professionals who work with senior management, sales teams, legal, and risk to facilitate the new business pipeline. Our team uses its expertise, experience, technology, and relationships within the company to manage the entire client onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- You will coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes for clients and internal accounts, ensuring an efficient workflow and rigorous follow-up with various departments, including KYC, Credit/Risk, Legal, E-Solutions, Treasury, Client Services, and Business Data in North America and worldwide.
- Analyze and determine the documents required for accounts based on counterparty type and products traded, as well as approve the adequacy of documents and financial information received from potential clients;
- You will be responsible for creating and updating client information, documents, and product/limit requests in various databases/systems;
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to company-wide projects related to integration, new systems, data upgrades, and new regulations;
- You will implement new processes, participate in the launch of new systems, and provide demonstrations to other departments;
- You will assist the front office in quickly and accurately integrating new business, finding customized solutions to client needs.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the financial industry;
- University degree or experience in the financial industry;
- Experience in customer relations and public relations skills;
- Skills in data handling and metrics collection;
- Possess a wide range of financial knowledge: stocks, fixed income, OTC, futures, options, etc.;
- Be well informed about recent regulatory developments, e.g., Dodd Frank, FATCA, FinCEN;
- Knowledge of legal documents related to opening accounts;
- Be familiar with the KYC (Know Your Customer) process;
- Familiarity with compliance regulations;
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. English is required as the person in this position will be required to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners outside Quebec.
