About the role
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – SFMC & Azure Data Platforms 📍 Markham, ON | 🗓️ 6-Month Contract | 4 Days/Week On-Site | Start: Late July 2026
We're looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer to join a large enterprise client and lead quality assurance across a complex, multi-channel marketing and data platform built on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Azure.
What You'll Do Own end-to-end test strategy across data ingestion, orchestration, and SFMC execution layers Validate Azure Data Factory pipelines, Service Bus workflows, and data transformation logic Test SFMC journeys (Email, SMS, Push, Direct Mail) including entry/exit criteria, personalization, and template rendering Execute integration and regression testing with full data lineage traceability Support UAT, change management (CAB), and go-live readiness activities Monitor post-launch production executions and drive continuous QA improvement
What You Bring Hands-on SFMC experience: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, APIs Strong Azure background: Data Factory, Service Bus, Container Apps Solid SQL skills and experience with large-scale data validation API testing experience (RESTful & async patterns) Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking Experience with E2E integration testing in enterprise environments
Bonus Points ITIL/Change Management (CAB) familiarity High-volume customer communications platform experience
