What an RN Role Offers
Transitioning into an RN role at Shannex provides the opportunity to expand your clinical practice, take on greater leadership, and contribute to the development of your care team. As an RN, you will:
- Assess, plan and evaluate resident care
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to team members
- Support care plan development and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Serve as a resource for residents, families and colleagues
- Administer medications and treatments within RN scope
- Promote safe, high-quality, person-centered care

Who We’re Inviting to Express Interest
Current LPN team members who:
- Have completed or are completing their RN program
- Will be eligible for RN registration in Nova Scotia
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills, communication and resident-focused care
- Are open to flexible scheduling (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
Additional training in areas such as dementia care, foot care, palliative care, or venipuncture is considered an asset but not required.
