We are seeking students currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields—or upcoming graduates within 12 months of the placement end date—who are eager to learn and contribute to cutting-edge technologies.
How You Will Contribute:
- Develop test automation using Python in virtualized, microservices, and container-based architectures.
- Explore AI-powered test automation for advanced networking technologies such as Segment Routing, SRv6, Multicast, Containers, SDN, and NFV.
- Collaborate in a supportive environment with mentorship and training to enhance your skills.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and contribute to faster resolutions.
The Must Haves:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields—or upcoming graduation within 12 months of placement end date.
- Proficiency in Python programming, Linux shell, and Git.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of TCP-IP and Linux operating systems.
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
