Job Summary The Digital Growth Marketer is responsible for capturing, analyzing, and evaluating data from assigned platforms while evolving platforms for greater lead capture, acquisition, and conversion opportunities. The candidate possesses a deep understanding of data architecture, data quality and governance. This individual is tasked to:
- Implement appropriate measurement strategies that support specific revenue targets.
- Aggregate data from various platforms into dashboards, then analyze and present the findings in reports that identify trends and provide recommendations for the sales and marketing teams to utilize
- Capture digital data and conversion metrics.
- Analyze results and perform iterative platform optimizations using a strong attention to detail
- Ensure information presented across digital platforms is up-to-date, consistent and optimized to reflect current best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Marketing, Standards Marketing and Communications team to understand their reporting needs, campaign objectives and suggest meaningful ways of presenting data to help assess the success of their campaigns.
- Help educate and train Marketing colleagues to use the dashboards and other measurement tools to create a culture of data driven decision making
They will work with stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities for growth in acquisition, conversion, and search ranking. It is best suited to a curious thinker who likes to explore and is motivated to learn, grow and be challenged. A strong understanding of marketing and communications, and alignment to end user objectives, is essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Understands the customer journey, from their first exposure to CSA Group’s digital platforms until becoming a paid customer.
- Integrates data sources from various systems (Pardot, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, etc.) into a central repository that then feeds into dashboards.
- Build and maintain real-time interactive dashboards using platforms such as Google Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar tools to visualize engagement activity, conversion rates, marketing outputs, and other key performance metrics in a manner that is digestible for end users.
- Establish regular reporting cadences based on the needs of the CMO and the Executive Leadership team.
- Ensure that reporting tools can display results by a variety of segments.
- Works with IT to establish automated workflows and optimize data pipelines for improved performance, automation and reliability to ensure complete and accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Leverages strong knowledge of industry trends to design and develop new marketing performance measurement and analytics solutions.
- Documents all analytics and reporting procedures to ensure continuity of service.
- Define actionable trends and provide actionable insights to guide the team on lead identification and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with peers in the Lead Generation team to use analytics to help drive traffic to the CSA Group website and ads
- Establish a methodology for measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; provide recommendations based on the insights gleaned on how to adjust campaigns including budgets.
- Proactive problem solver who is constantly looking at how the data can help solve business problems.
- Project manages / facilitates as required. Ensures appropriate related training is delivered to staff as required.
Education And Experience
- Post Secondary degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing or, related experience.
- Google Analytics certified
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, digital marketing analytics, or related fields in a B2B environment
- Strong knowledge of metrics and data extraction/integration for reporting, with hands-on experience in tools such as Google Analytics 4, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Pardot
- Demonstrate ability to synthesize large and complex datasets into clean, actionable insights, including the creation of executive summaries and data-driven recommendations that influence marketing strategy and decision making.
- Strong grasp of ROI with an analytical mind to mine data for insights and generate hypothesis for constant and fast iteration testing.
- Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), with a focus on improving performance across website contact forms, LinkedIn lead generation campaigns, and eCommerce transactions.
- Skilled in building interactive dashboards using platforms like Looker Studio and Power BI processes to combine data from numerous sources into one destination for analysis and reporting.
- Experienced in handling large, complex datasets and blending data across platforms or systems, with a strong focus on maintaining data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
- Advanced abilities in with MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
- A team player that is comfortable collaborating with both technical and business teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to permit conveying complex information in a clear manner.
- Proactive problem solver who is constantly looking at how the data can help solve business problems.
