Position Overview We are actively recruiting an experienced Manager, Tagging & Measurement, to lead our analytics tagging and measurement operations. Reporting to the Director of Data Enablement, you will drive a hybrid model combining 70% hands-on execution with 30% team leadership , personally owning critical implementations while building and guiding a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end GA4 implementations (event taxonomy, custom dimensions/metrics, cross-domain tracking, BigQuery export)
  • Build and maintain tag management solutions (GTM; Adobe Launch/Tealium a plus), including custom JS variables, advanced triggers, and templates
  • Design scalable data layers supporting analytics and marketing platforms
  • Implement CRM-to-analytics integrations for attribution (APIs/webhooks, mapping)
  • Configure behavior analytics/heatmaps with data-layer integration
  • Define measurement frameworks for multi-site properties
  • Own QA and governance: automated testing, target ≥80% pass rate, documentation (tagging specs/data layer docs), and privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA + consent tools)
  • Lead a team of 3: coaching/1:1s, implementation reviews, prioritization, and technical escalation
  • Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, IT, Product, Privacy) and translate technical work into business impact

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in web analytics implementation/tagging; 2+ years people management
  • Expert in GTM (client-side + server-side) and GA4 (event model, BigQuery, APIs)
  • Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS for implementation and debugging
  • Experience with server-side tagging, measurement protocols, and data layer design patterns
  • Familiar with other TMS/analytics tools (Adobe Launch/Tealium/Segment; Adobe Analytics/Mixpanel/Amplitude)
  • Consent management implementation experience (e.g., OneTrust, Cookiebot, Osano)
  • Strong debugging and QA skills (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Omnibug, Charles Proxy)
  • Strong project management across concurrent implementations; clear client communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred)
