Electrical Assembler
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical components for Vidir’s final products with precision, speed, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings to build accurate and reliable systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support root-cause analysis to keep production flowing efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain parts inventory within your work area.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities—whether it’s safer operations, higher quality, cost reduction, or waste elimination.
- Champion Vidir’s Safety Management System and Continuous Improvement Programs, leading by example and supporting a culture of excellence.
Qualifications:
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Post-secondary Diploma in Electrical Applications preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Background in electrical work or electrical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Skilled with hand tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, and wire strippers
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment
- Strong basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic computer skills

Vidir Solutions is an automated material handling solutions company based in the heart of Manitoba’s Interlake with two locations in Manitoba and one location close by in Lebanon, PA in the US.

What began as a little machine shop on a rural farm yard has grown into a company with over 250 employees and products in over 45 countries around the globe.
