About the role
This role is ideal for a talented music producer with a passion for downtempo and electronica genres, drawing inspiration from artists such as Bonobo and Jon Hopkins. The primary focus will be on ghost producing original tracks for a client, with a strong emphasis on creative sound design, arrangement, and genre authenticity. The project is remote, and the initial deadline for track delivery is the end of January. There is potential for ongoing collaboration based on the quality and fit of the delivered work.
Deliverables
- Produce original downtempo/electronica tracks in line with provided references and creative direction
- Deliver fully arranged and mixed project files (Ableton preferred; FL Studio or Logic Pro also accepted)
- Ensure all stems and project files are organized and ready for full buyout transfer
- Meet the initial delivery deadline at the end of January
- Communicate progress and incorporate feedback promptly
- Provide examples of previous work in electronica, downtempo, or trip hop genres
Requirements
- Proven experience producing downtempo, electronica, or trip hop music
- Strong proficiency in Ableton Live, FL Studio, or Logic Pro
- Ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready tracks and organized project files
- Creative approach to sound design, arrangement, and genre-specific production techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on remote projects
- Portfolio or links to relevant previous work in the specified genres
- Availability to meet project deadlines and respond to feedback in a timely manner
