We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist, to support the procurement of goods and services across all lines of our business.

This role works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, to manage procurement requests, ensure timely distribution of materials and services, and drive operational efficiency to meet goal-specific targets.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Post Secondary degree in Business Administration, commerce, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • A Supply Chain Management professional designation (preferred).
  • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, construction, or utilities experience (preferred).
  • Proven negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve cost efficiencies (preferred).
  • A competent understanding of the powerline and utilities industry (preferred).
  • Time management proficiency to meet time-sensitive deadlines and competing priorities (required).
  • An analytical mindset and solutions-based problem solving (required).
  • Effective communication, both verbally and written, as well as strong interpersonal ability to build and retain stakeholder and vendor relationships (required).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all documentation (required).
  • Microsoft Office (Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat proficiency, as well as procurement or ERP systems software (required).
  • Organizational skills in supporting multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced, changing environment (required).
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver abstract (required).
