We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (Growth Product Engineer) to help shape the future of the Let’s Roam app and website. In this role, you’ll design and implement intuitive, engaging user experiences that drive growth. From building new gameplay and features to running A/B tests and optimizing funnels, your work will directly impact how millions of users interact with our platform.

Let’s Roam is a startup (est. 2016) that helps people explore the world and connect with each other. Our culturally immersive scavenger hunts help people connect with their environment through team challenges and interactive games, while our corporate virtual team building events offer a fun and sophisticated way of bringing companies together and stay engaged with one another while living in a remote work environment. We plan on growing fast and you will have the opportunity to grow with us.

🎯 What You’ll Do

A/B Testing & Growth (30%)

• Identify high-leverage testing opportunities and run A/B tests across app and web.
• Own a weekly A/B testing cadence and iterate quickly based on data.
• Continuously improve conversion rates through experimentation.

App Development (20%)

• Design and develop end-to-end user flows and mobile screens.
• Create and refine game mechanics that boost engagement and retention.
• Proactively identify UX pain points and deliver solutions.

Website Development (30%)

• Build and optimize high-converting landing pages.
• Improve the customer journey across desktop and mobile.
• Use customer personas and industry research to inform design decisions.

Product Improvements & Support (20%)

• Fix bugs quickly in our fast-moving startup environment.
• Contribute passion projects within our app, website, or blogs.
• Continuously deliver improvements that enhance user experience.

🧩 What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years experience in full stack web development.
• Strong UI/UX design skills in Figma.
• Ability to design and implement game mechanics and gamified features.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
• Strong grasp of conversion funnels and user psychology.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end, from idea to implementation.
• Experience working with AI tools (Cursor, Claude, prompt engineering).
• Strong portfolio showcasing impactful product and design work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This is an independent contractor position at Let's Roam. You will be working closely with our team and daily meetings and frequent check-ins.
