Luxury Experience Coordinator
Providing engaging, sincere, personalized service is one of the ways our Luxury Arrival Experience colleagues are turning moments into special memories for our guests at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
Demonstrate your unique ability to connect with our guests and ensure they have an experience of a lifetime from the minute they arrive at the hotel with your warm welcome, to the moment the depart the hotel with your sincere goodbye.
This is afull-time, permanentposition.
Starting Rate of Pay:$25.55 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.20.
Job Duties Include:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the VIP arrival experience by ensuring all service standards are followed from the point of arrival at the Front Door, porterage and room experience
- Drive the luxury arrival experience
- Oversee Front Door arrival with personal greetings for all VIP’s with presence during peak arrival times
- Be present in the lobby welcoming all guests by greeting, escorting and/or directing guests
- Enact and lead hotel teams in recognizing loyalty guests, return guests, designated VIPs & Owners.
- Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented
- Coordinate with Guest Services, In Room Dining and Housekeeping to inspect rooms allocated for VIP’s and other guests as required to ensure that all amenities and cards have been delivered and that the room is properly presented
Qualifications
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to work with a high luxury mindset in all activities
