GELA Continuing Education - Heritage Language Instructors Part-time and Casual (Kindergarten to Grade 8) Heritage Languages Punjabi – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Walter Gretzky ES
Polish – Monday evenings at Polish Hall, Brantford
Bangla - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Walter Gretzky ES
Arabic - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Walter Gretzky ES
Note : Successful candidates will be placed as regular classroom instructor or supply instructor based on the needs of the program.
Qualifications
- Must have verbal and written proficiency in both the instructed Heritage Language for which the candidate is applying and English.
- As well, experience working with elementary school aged children is an asset.
- The successful candidate will also need to have strong organizational skills.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
HOURS: To be determined as needed
RATE OF PAY: $17.20 per hour (plus vacation pay)
