Duties: The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) provides assistance to students with communication disorders and delays that are determined by the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for supervising the SLPA.
Education & Qualifications:
- A minimum of a two (2) year certificate in speech language pathologist technician or speech language pathologist assistant from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education is required
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to do carry heavy loads up to 25 kgs is required
- A working knowledge of computers is required
Wage & Benefits: In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently, this is a range of $20.68 to $24.62 per hour.
