About the role
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Skilled Labourer is responsible for a variety of items to be complete during the construction project. Key responsibilities include framing bulk heads, site clean up, minor drywall repairs, minor paint touch ups and other final touches to ensure high-quality results. This role is crucial for ensuring timelines and work is completed efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

Perform a variety of construction tasks including but not limited to framing bulk heads, drywall cleans, cover floors, appliance installation and other job site tasks.

Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Quality checks and touch-ups to ensure flawless finishes.
-
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds the required quality standards.
What we’re looking for
-
2+ year experience in construction.

Fluent English speaking
-
Valid driver’s license and vehicle are required
-
Experience in carpentry, renovations or new home builds.

Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
-
Post Secondary Education in a construction or trades related field is an asset.
-
Must have proper PPE (steel toe boots & hardhat).
-
Ability to lift items up to 50lbs.
