About The Role Senior Support Worker
Location - Bangeston Hall
Hourly rate - £12.80 to £13.70
Full time - 45.5 hours per week
Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for career development ? We have an exciting opportunity in Pembrokedock for a Senior Support Worker to join our home in Bangeston Hall, where you will support individuals with complex needs associated with autism .
You will be assisting in the day to day management of the home and help continue to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals. Our passion is making a difference and our focus is to strengthen interests and aspirations by offering a holistic, engaging, and person-centred environment. To do well in this role, you’ll need to have a passion for supporting individuals to live as fulfilled and independent lives as possible and everyday you will make a difference to the lives of people we support.
A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
- Act as shift leader
- Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
- Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
- Promote and celebrate homes achievements.
To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:
- Experience in a positive support environment.
- QCF level 3 qualified.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations.
- Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
- Upload company policies and standards.
- Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
- Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.
