The Cyber Security Advisory (CSA) team at Ontinue is responsible for providing security and Microsoft advice, technical expertise, and proactive support to our customers. Focused on building lasting partnerships, CSA team members serve as trusted advisors, leveraging deep technical expertise to strengthen customer security posture and drive meaningful outcomes. This Cyber Security Advisor role is based in Canada and reports directly to the Regional Director of Cyber Security Advisory.

Must-haves:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• Confidence in interfacing with customers directly and providing strong informal leadership around cybersecurity

• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience

• Reliable and trustworthy character, solid communication skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security products, including Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, and Microsoft Defender suite

• Knowledge of attacker tradecraft and security hardening

• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Nice to have:

• Scripting/programming skills

• Incident response experience

• Threat hunting skills

• Deep understanding of Azure AD

• Network and system administration experience

• Work experience in the managed security services industry
