Responsibilities
PCI & Compliance Support
- Support PCI DSS engagements, including evidence collection, control validation, and documenting assessment findings.
- Assist in preparing PCI-related materials such as SAQs, ROCs and AOC drafts, and working papers.
- Participate in identifying payment data flows and documenting payment channels.
- Help track and validate client remediation activities.
Cybersecurity & Privacy Assessments
- Contribute to cyber maturity assessments, security reviews, and compliance checks following frameworks such as ISO 27001/2, NIST, CIS, OSFI, and PIPEDA.
- Assist with data gathering for vulnerability assessments and cloud/security configuration reviews.
- Document technical evidence such as screenshots, configurations, logs, and diagrams.
Client Support & Engagement Delivery
- Prepare clear, well-structured deliverables including reports, templates, and client-ready summaries.
- Support project coordination tasks such as scheduling, status tracking, and updating work plans.
- Participate in client meetings to take notes, gather requirements, and provide follow-up actions.
Internal Collaboration & Practice Support
- Contribute to internal methodologies, templates, and tools.
- Support business development activities by gathering background information or contributing to proposal sections.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, cybersecurity, engineering or related field
- Minimum 1-3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or compliance (PCI experience an asset, not required).
- Basic understanding of PCI DSS and common security frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS).
- Familiarity with core security concepts: network/security fundamentals, encryption basics, vulnerability scanning tools, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Security Clearance considered an asset
- Some travel required
- Certifications include:

- Security-related certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or similar required.
