Position Overview The Onboarding Success Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and long-term performance of our software solutions within enterprise-level hospital and medical imaging environments. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing capabilities and project management, to provide strategic architecture and system recommendations tailored to customers operating in complex, enterprise environments with the customers’ scalability and growth goals in mind and ensuring a successful deployment and adoption of CircleCVI solutions. This position may also require supporting customers and internal teams across multiple time zones to maintain continuity and responsiveness throughout deployment and operational cycles.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical and the project management skills needed to both lead clients through pre-sales, implementation, onboarding, and go-live activities and perform the technical tasks required to successfully implement the solution.
The architect must be comfortable working independently as well as within collaborative, cross-functional teams such as but not limited to Support, Customer Success Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Product Management. They will help align solution designs with product capabilities, participate in product feedback cycles, support validation of new features, and work collaboratively to resolve complex technical challenges encountered during implementation and ongoing customer operations.
The Onboarding Success Project Manager will report to the Regional Manager, Technical Solutions and Support.
General Responsibilities Customer Environment Assessment
- Conduct detailed evaluations of hospital and imaging center environments including computing, storage, network topology, and healthcare integration points.
- Identify compatibility gaps between the customer’s ecosystem and our software/system requirements.
- Assess current-state capacity and anticipated growth - such as additional modalities, sites, volumes, or integrations—and incorporate appropriate architectural allowances to ensure proposed designs support future scalability.
Architecture Design, Scalability Planning & Technical Oversight
- Design scalable, resilient, and future-ready system architectures aligned with clinical workflow, performance, and compliance needs. Ensuring the solution is implemented correctly from the start to support long-term scalability, modular expansion, and increased data or workload demands.
- Provide guidance on resource sizing, clustering, load balancing, high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support Sales and Product teams during pre-sales discovery to assess technical fit, define scope, and highlight potential risks.
- Collaborate with Support, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure project delivery aligns with architectural intent.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex design questions or customer-specific architectural challenges.
- Create a comprehensive project plan that includes milestones and tasks to be achieved, dates and accountable parties to perform them.
- Establish a communication channel and cadence, internally and with customers to support the execution of the project plan and maintain stakeholders informed.
Customer Engagement & Trusted Advisory
- Act as a strategic technical advisor to hospital IT, imaging teams, and stakeholders.
- Present scalability strategies, tailored server requirements, and project plans to both technical and executive audiences.
- Coordinate and schedule regular meetings with key stakeholders throughout the implementation, onboarding, and go-live cycle. Ensuring strong groundwork for long-term, successful customer relationships.
Onboarding, Implementation, Go-Live and Optimization
- Perform the technical tasks required to successfully implement the solution.
- Support go-live events with a focus on stability and minimal clinical disruption.
- Review post-deployment performance and provide recommendations for optimization, expansion, or lifecycle upgrades.
Required Skills/Experience
- 5+ years as a System Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
- 3+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or medical imaging systems (PACS, VNA, RIS, EMR/EHR).
- Experience with enterprise storage, load balancing, clustering, and HA architecture.
- Familiarity with radiology or cardiology imaging workflows.
- Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, FHIR, IHE profiles, and healthcare data flow.
- Expertise with Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud solutions (Azure/AWS), and enterprise networking.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, identity management, and healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PHIPA, ISO, SOC2).
- Project Management experience in the field and or IT environments.
- Excellent communication and architectural documentation skills.
