Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Must be Bilingual (French & English)
• Provide Front desk coverage
• Conduct security patrols on multiple floors and must be able to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs if requested
• Must have MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams knowledge
• Must be able to operate CCTV and Alarm systems as needed
• Must be able to maintain good file management skills and handling sensitive documents and information
• Must be flexible, diligent, adaptable.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented and independent manner with strong sense of organization.
• Answer phone calls or emails, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff/departments.
• Assist with clerical and other miscellaneous duties.
• Ensure all CGL Policies and Procedures are maintained and followed
• Other duties as assigned

• *MUST* Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• *MUST*Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate
• *MUST* be bilingual (French & English)
• *MUST* Have the ability to obtain Secret (Level II) Security clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean criminal record, clean credit history)
• The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential

Hourly Rate of Pay: $24.06

Start Date: ASAP

Location: 7685 Hurontario , Brampton

Schedule: Monday-Friday 0830-1700 (Weekends and STAT holidays off)
