Position Description
At CGI, we are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Agentic AI and large language model (LLM) integration to join our growing team. In this role, you will help design and deliver next-generation Salesforce solutions infused with AI-driven automation, conversational capabilities, and intelligent workflows. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce professional who is passionate about innovation and wants to shape the future of AI-powered CRM systems within a collaborative, high-performing environment. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Atlantic Canada, with a hybrid work model requiring 2 days onsite per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and custom integrations.
- Build and integrate Agentic AI solutions leveraging frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or Einstein GPT to enhance automation and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product owners to design and implement intelligent CRM capabilities.
- Develop secure and scalable API integrations between Salesforce and external AI or data platforms.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions, performance tuning, and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to AI-driven feature ideation, workflow automation, and intelligent agent design within Salesforce.
- Support deployment processes, testing, and documentation in an Agile/DevOps environment.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and customization.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with AI tools or APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Einstein GPT, or similar frameworks).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder).
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js for AI and LLM integration use cases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Salesforce DevOps processes.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with Agentic AI frameworks or autonomous AI agents.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or AI orchestration in enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure AI, or Google Vertex AI integration with Salesforce.
- Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, or Einstein GPT Specialist preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
