Administrative Assistant
About the role
Summary
Tsubaki of Canada Limited is looking for an organized Administrative Assistant who is able to handle a number of tasks on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have an accounting background with up to 1 year of experience in AR or AP.
This role is a full-time permanent opportunity.
Reception Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering phones. Greeting visitors. Setting up Boardroom and Welcome Board when needed. Sorting and distributing incoming mail. Processing outgoing mail. Place, process and distribute office stationary and supplies orders. Processing weekly and on demand courier pick ups. Filing and maintain for long term storage AR documents and AP documents.
AR Invoicing
Gather daily the shipped sales orders from Warehouse. Sort in proper order by day the shipped sales orders. Process daily the Direct to our Customer invoices. Produce on Proof of Deliveries documents.
AP Invoices
Printing and distributing daily the emailed supplier invoices Gather and distribute daily the Vendor packing slips from Warehouse. Process Weekly Inter-company and overseas invoices . Process and advise AP team status of Vendor Statements.
General Accounting
Cross train into some additional AR and AP duties to assist Accounting Team when needed.
Qualifications
Accounting background with up to 1 year of experience in AR or AP. Ability to handle a high volume of activities. Organized to handle the multi-tasking that happens on a daily basis.
