Job Title: 310S Truck and Coach Technician Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Direct Reports: Canada Maintenance Manager Job Summary We are seeking a licensed 310S Truck and Coach Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and coaches to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
With direct supervision from a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, a Maintenance Technician performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies and control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train and steering systems. The Maintenance Technician may also perform basic tire work, such as replacement, tire rotation, and tread depth checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to accurately identify electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and fluid replacements
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve repair processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Education And Experience
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License is required
- Proven experience working as a licensed mechanic in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, for electrical troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship
