Boss Lubricants is a leading wholesaler and distributor of premium industrial and commercial lubricant products, serving customers throughout Central and Western Canada.
As part of our ongoing growth strategy and our commitment to maintaining our position as the largest independent manufacturer of lubricants and greases in Western Canada, we are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team.
SCOPE
With a great “can-do” attitude and good physical condition, you will be assembling orders for customers, assisting with incoming and outgoing products and helping customers over the phone.
RESPONSIBILITY
Service
- Deal with walkthrough customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Answer phones and assist customers (i.e. placing orders, giving quotes).
- Carry products out to customer’s vehicle when needed.
- Completing the data entry for customer’s orders.
- Sending invoices to customer’s
Warehouse
- Loading and unloading trailers (involves use of forklift) when required.
- Warehouse duties (i.e. putting away product, preparing orders for delivery, organizing warehouse).
- Helps maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area, including sweeping and cleaning up any spills, removing pallets and empty totes and keeping the aisles clean and clear of any debris.
- Makes recommendations on the effective use of space within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval of high-demand or high-volume products.
- Assists in the quarterly inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Safety
- Identifies work-place safety hazards and advises the Supervisor.
- Performs regular safety checks.
- Adheres to all company policies, safety practices and initiatives.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Experience developing customer relationships and mediating customer concerns.
- Proven computer skills and experience using various software packages, including MS Office products and database applications.
- Ability to multi-task and re-shift priorities efficiently as needed.
- Ability to self motivate and work with minimal supervision.
- Thorough organization and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Exude professionalism and customer-service – BOSS’ core values.
- Continuous desire to learn new BOSS products and stay current with industry initiatives.
- Ability to lift 50lbs continuously.
- Prior forklift training would be considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of the lubricants industry is not required but would be an asset.
