Purpose and Scope
Support the Medical Affairs Department with operational functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Gain exposure and develop a basic understanding of the role of Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Assist in creation of Medical Information Responses for two medicines and 3 therapeutic areas
  • Support the optimization of the patient support program components into an integrated role
  • Support development of a meta-analysis and systematic review related to pediatric endocrinology.
  • Assist with literature reviews and competitive intelligence, as needed.
  • Engage in potential projects with publication vendor, cross functional departments, or healthcare providers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Skill in effective communication, both orally and in writing
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to work individually and ability to handle self-driven projects efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and learning mindset
Education & Experience
  • University student with a scientific major interested in pursuing a future career in pharmaceutical industry or medical field
Working Conditions
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Will mainly be virtual with some travel to Ontario Office
