Strava College is a growing private post-secondary institution dedicated to delivering accessible, industry-relevant education that equips learners with practical skills for career success. As a Designated Learning Institution and Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designated institution, the College offers career-focused programs designed to meet evolving workforce needs. Guided by a commitment to educational excellence, innovation, and student success, Strava College is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is seeking its inaugural Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the Executive Leadership Team.
Reporting to the CEO, the COO will provide strategic and operational leadership across institutional operations, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, student services, admissions, facilities, technology, and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and strengthening the systems, governance frameworks, policies, and performance measures required to support sustainable growth while ensuring the highest standards of regulatory integrity, educational quality, operational effectiveness, and student-centred service.
The ideal candidate will bring senior leadership experience within private post-secondary education, training institutions, or similarly regulated environments, with expertise in compliance, quality assurance, governance, and operational leadership. They will possess a strong understanding of educational quality standards and regulatory frameworks, along with the credibility and judgement to engage effectively with regulators, government agencies, and external stakeholders. Experience working with PTIRU, EQA, StudentAid BC, and IRCC will be considered a strong asset.
