About The Role The Program Coordinator role at Cyient is a vital position designed to support the Program Manager in the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects within the aerospace sector. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in developing project plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring that all project activities align with organizational standards and strategic objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a background in aerospace project management to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates their capability to manage complex projects effectively. A background in aerospace engineering, project management, or related fields is preferred. Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable. Candidates should have proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously within fast-paced environments, preferably in aerospace or related industries. Strong technical proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required to facilitate collaboration across departments and stakeholders. A thorough understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations, industry standards, and contracting methodologies will be advantageous. The candidate must be self-motivated, autonomous, and willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of project plans to meet organizational needs and strategic goals.
  • Assist in developing, executing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and action plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Regularly report on project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and maintain alignment across departments.
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to inform stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in financial planning by preparing cost estimates, monitoring expenditures, and producing financial forecasts in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies throughout project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, briefings, and position papers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing project processes and suggesting enhancements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Assist in risk management activities by analyzing potential issues and developing mitigation plans.
