Sr. Financial Analyst, International Expansion of Account Management, Amazon Ads

Description Amazon Ads Finance seeks a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to be the primary Finance partner to the Account Management leadership team supporting emerging locales. We are a dynamic team supporting Ads Sales leaders at the heart of transforming how brands connect with customers, leveraging world-class technologies to shape the next generation of advertising.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive short and long-term revenue forecasts for the Account Management (AM) org supporting emerging locales
- Collaborate closely AM leadership across multiple locales to develop and implement strategies
- Conduct detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reviews
- Strategically optimize and prioritize investments across locales, industry verticals, and advertiser segments
A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic financial planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You'll engage with leadership, analyze complex financial landscapes, and develop forward-thinking financial strategies that support Amazon Ads' growth for our Account Management team in emerging locales.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
