Caseload: Assessment only, no private work

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Solid experience of 1-5 years experience in assessing and treating neurological (mTBI), and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in Occupational, OWN or WSIB, Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver's license is required.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • A diverse caseload with assessment by WSIB with complex musculoskeletal, TBI and mental health challenges.
  • Flexibility to work virtually for documentation , with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
  • Creating and implementing holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Managing caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
  • Participating in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and various stakeholders.
